In our previous post, I asked you if you’d like to have access to my portfolio allocations on a regular basis as part of the content of this newsletter. The response was very positive so I’ve decided to start sharing it.
Granted, I won’t be sharing capacity constrained trades, as those can easily be arbitraged away, and that’s not something I want to do. After all, my main income is trading, not content creation.
But the reality is that most of my returns over the years, has been in non-capital constrained trades, that I can publicly share here.
We will start with a very simple google sheets, where I’ll regularly update all the trades I have open/closed. I won’t say I’ll update it every single day, but I’ll update when there’s a material change such as opening a new trade, closing an open trade, or adjusting position size.
I will also create a tab for my discretionary trades that I do once in a while if they are long-term enough to be added here. This is a bit more tricky as not always it’s a set allocation, as it differs based on my confidence levels on the trade. But I’ll figure it out… In the meantime, I want to put this effort into motion as fast as possible, and not delay trying to make it perfect—80/20 solutions!
Then we will have a tab with the dashboards so that we can keep track of performance. I’ll make these dashboards better as time goes on. We will add benchmarks, other relevant performance metrics, and anything that may be relevant to evaluate our performance.
So, how this will work? I’ve sent an invite to all the paid newsletter subscribers here to have access to the sheet. Here’s the link to it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CwadaEzdzAojLB6mRnovPPF1yB3RiQIhnRSC0agSyEU/edit?usp=sharing
If you’re a paid member of the newsletter, you can follow on your own what I am doing, always knowing that it’s not investment advice, just sharing my work, for your own entertainment.
If you’re not a paid member of this newsletter, you can join us, and I’ll add you at maximum by the end of the day you subscribe, as I have to manually invite you to the spreadsheet.
If you have any issues accessing the sheet, please send me an email to financepedma7@gmail.com, and we will get it sorted.
Have a great day!
